Children’s Liturgy occurs during Sunday morning Mass, downstairs in the Children’s Liturgy Room. The program runs from mid-September to the end of June. The children actively participate in the Gospel reading, discussion, prayer intentions, games and crafts.
Children are invited to attend until approximately seven years of age; (note: once children have received their First Communion, they are asked to remain upstairs for the Liturgy of the Word). We welcome parents and siblings to attend Children’s Liturgy to help with younger children. High School students are welcome to volunteer as well. We also request adult parishioners, to volunteer to instruct classes. For more information contact the parish office at 780-632-3272.
All adult coordinators for Children’s Liturgy must attend a Called to Protect Workshop and have a police check done. For more information in this regard please call the parish office at 780-632-3272.
